In recent years, remarkable development of communication technologies has enabled 10 Gbps and more high-speed communication. In such high-speed communication, legacy TCPs such as CUBIC-TCP cannot achieve sufficient throughputs and waste bandwidth. Therefore, in this paper, we consider recently proposed TCP-FSO and TCP BBR as ultra-high-speed TCPs that can provide high-efficient bandwidth utilization in 10 Gbps connection, and evaluate their performances over various network conditions, such as high latency, high packet loss, and high jitter environments. |
