This paper proposes a novel method to improve QoS in MPTCP. In MPTCP, if there is a large delay difference between subflows, QoS will be degraded due to the out of order of packets. The proposed method reduces the maen of delay difference between subflows by multi-pathizing each subflow by SDN. As a result, the out of order of data can be controlled not at the subflow level but at the connection level. Moreover, since the method uses SDN, it can improve QoS without changing any existing protocol. The authors have implemented this method and evaluated its effectiveness through experiments using actual machines. Experimental results show that QoS improves with proposal method. |
