Cavity Slot Antenna for Wireless Power Transmission to Small Sensors on the Human Arm

(in English) As an aging, home medical care and nursing have become increasingly important. In the medical field, it is expected to utilize small medical equipment with small sensors not only in a hospital but also in visiting medical care. However, there some problems such as the limitation of patients’ motion due to cables and their size and weight due to batteries. Therefore, wireless power transmission (WPT) improves those problems. In this study, assuming the WPT system on the human arm, a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna operating at 2.45 GHz are proposed.
