Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Damping for iterative algorithms such as approximate message passing (AMP) is a technique to stabilize behavior of the algorithms by reducing update amount in each iteration. It is known that damping does stabilize the algorithms, but it increased the number of iterations for convergence. So the the strength of damping is an issue. In this study, we apply unroll by neural networks to damped AMP and optimize the damping constants. We obtain some insights for the strength of damping by observing the optimized damping constants.
