Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Frequency shift keying (FSK) is a widely-used transmission scheme defined in IEEE 802.15.4 for Internet of things (IoT) due to the merits of simple implementation and low power consumption. To expand IoT systems, higher data rate is expected for massive IoT or new IoT application scenarios. In this report, we propose high-speed FSK transmission scheme that enhances data rate to 600 kbps. A prototype of integrated circuit (IC) is developed to validate the feasibility of the proposed scheme. Field experiment is carried out to show its practical feasibility for IoT systems in urban environment. Experimental results show that the high-speed FSK transmission scheme achieves communication at 600 kbps for 250 m on line-of-sight (LoS) routes.
