Development of Telemetry System for Human Life Behavior, Breathing and Heart Rate in Nursing Facility Using 24GHz Band Radar Technology

(in English) A telemetry system for human behavior, breathing and heart rate using both a 24 GHz band radar and Wi-Fi network without body contact in nursing facility was developed. The system was applied to an actual nursing facility in two different rooms, 2.3m and 4m wide, and connecting 3 and 5-hop Wi-Fi multi-hop networks. As a result, detection accuracy of 90% for human behaver, 80% for breathing rate, and 80% for heart rate limited to 2.3m room were achieved, respectively.
