We have proposed Smart Mixer, the sound mixing system. Time-Frequency plane that has been used in the signal processing of Smart Mixer has a risk of auditory signal deterioration. Therefore, there was a limit to the details of the signal processing using it. In this paper, a new signal representation method obtained from the time-frequency plane is introduced to realize processing for limited time-frequency domain, which was difficult in the conventional method. The proposed method is based on the model called modulated complex sine waves, and approximates the periodic component of the acoustic signal called oscillation mode by its model. Thanks to this, it generates a representation that is consistent with the behavior of the acoustic signal. When the proposed method was implemented on a computer and applied to a real acoustic signal, it proved to be effective especially for speech with a single fundamental tone. |
