Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper describes a lesson system using head-mounted display VR in asynchronous e-learning.
The feature of this system is that teacher movements recorded in advance, can be reproduced as 3D avatars in the VR space, and a learner is able to take a lesson.
In addition, the system can interact with movements outside the recording, such as eye contact with the teacher avatar, depend on the movement of the learner.
As a result of an evaluation experiment, it was suggested that this system may be more effective in reducing loneliness and increasing tension than e-learning using video.
