Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation Using Prior Measured CQI Information for Spectrum Sharing in Private Mobile Networks

(in English) As the next generation of cellular systems, 5G has been paid attention in recent years. In order to promote the use of 5G technology for localized and private purposes, local 5G and micro operators are drawn interest. For realization of the local 5G, private mobile networks by multiple independent operators are considered. In order to efficiently use the designated spectrum of local 5G, spectrum sharing among multiple independent operators is needed. A spatial separation method has been proposed for the spectrum sharing. In the spatial separation method, transmission power is controlled by utilizing a measurement-based spectrum database (MSD). However, when multiple base stations that each belongs to different operator eager to serve with a close distance, the power control approach cannot work properly since the permissible transmit power is too small and the serving area becomes very small. In this paper, we propose a dynamic bandwidth allocation method using prior measured channel quality indicator (CQI) information with location for spectrum sharing in private mobile networks. In the proposed method, resources required for a target user equipment (UE) is calculated, and along with the information, the spectrum bandwidth is dynamically allocated for each operator. From simulation results, it is shown that the proposed method can continuously meet the capacity requirement of the target UE compared to the stationary bandwidth operation.
