QUBO solver for combinatorial optimization problems with constraints

(in English) Quantum computers have been developed to solve combinatorial optimization problems mapped to the quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) in short time. QUBO solvers implemented digital computers also have been developed to solve larger scale problems which are not able to be inputted to quantum computers. This paper proposes a modified simulated annealing algorithm for QUBO problems. The proposed algorithm solve QUBO problems fast by using constraint information in the original combinatorial optimization problem. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm solves a traveling salesman problem 50 times faster than a conventional algorithm.
