[Poster Presentation] Channel Assignment Using GA in Dense LTE/Wi-Fi Network with Unlicensed Bands

(in English) In recent years, the amount of data traffic is growing rapidly and spectrum resources are scarcity in wireless networks. Therefore, much traffic is offloaded to WiFi. However, serious interference is caused between WiFi Access Points (APs), and it is not necessarily effective to offload to WiFi.
As a technology to overcome this situation, LTE system with unlicensed bands receives much attention.
However, it may cause significant interference to WiFi. Therefore, the coexistence of LTE and WiFi with unlicensed bands is the problem.
In this paper, we propose a channel assignment method and a users' access system selection method with Genetic Algorithm for LTE base stations and WiFi APs.
