Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Development towards the 5-th generation mobile communication system (5G) has been proceeding. There are many terminal stations up to 4G after introducing 5G. However, the concept of controlling the amount of interference of the managed wireless nodes and maximizing the frequency utilization for the entire network has been proposed. As a fundamental study in such an environment where many IoT terminal stations exist, we are studying to grasp the propagation loss characteristics of the terminal station side. In this paper, we conducted experiment using hexahedral antennas which can receive waves from all directions when considering IoT terminal stations. We describe the results of evaluating propagation characteristics in 0.9/2.4/5.1 GHz. It is shown that the propagation loss coefficient with respect to the transmission distance is between 2 and 4 by the difference of the surface on hexahedral antennas. Moreover, we verify that the tendency of the propagation loss in terms of frequency difference.
