Experimental study on the antireflection nanotexture for organic photovoltaics

(in English) Organic solar cells have attracted a lot of attention as the energy supply devices for near future, because they have superior characteristics such as low cost, light weight, and flexibility. However, the low conversion efficiency of organic solar cells, compared to the widely-used Si-based solar cells, is a development issue. A light trapping technique using an antireflection nanotexture is generally employed to improve the power generation efficiency. In this report, we experimentally study the method to control the thickness of residual layer in cases where the antireflection nanotexture for organic solar cells is fabricated with nanoimprint lithography.
