The concept of IoT is becoming more and more popular as the developed and advanced of the internet, which connects each node to the network and commands their objects. In recent years, the application of IoT in agriculture is getting more widespread. For this purpose, this research presents an automated watering system based on wireless network chips and controllers. The system includes cloud platform, water valve system, and environmental sensing box. In order to achieve intelligent control, this research proposes the concept of threshold, according to the farmer's experience and environmental parameters to select the appropriate threshold. This system allows users to have a flexible watering plan and automatically set the parameters of watering, thus greatly improve the convenience of agricultural operations, meanwhile, farmers can reduce the time cost, and keep their time doing the higher value work. |
