The life of concrete columns is said to be about 50 years, and cracks occur inside concrete columns that have been used for many years. In the conventional method, an operator listens to the hammer hitting sound of concrete column and determines the defects inside the concrete column. This inspection method has a drawback that it is necessary for an operator to receive training in advance in order to judge a defect inside a concrete column. Therefore, in addition to the need to train human resources engaged in hammer hitting sound inspection, the defect detection rate depended on the skill level of the worker. Therefore, many studies have been conducted so far to quantitatively judge the defects inside the concrete.
In this study, we report a method for learning the hammer hitting sound of concrete columns using deep learning and automatically judging defects. |
