Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In a system such as mMTC (massive Machine Type Communication), the network is typically uplink-dominant, where the number of active users is uncertain, and the transmission is sporadic.
Random access protocols are suitable for such applications, for both the initialization and the transmission phase of the system.
Among them, frameless ALOHA is a variant of coded ALOHA where the length of contention period is not defined a priori.
In this paper, we propose a frameless ALOHA with adjustable transmission probability of every user based on the received power at the base station (BS).
Based on numerical analysis, the proposed received-power-aware design of the transmission probability shows improvements in the packet delivery rate and throughput performance.
