A method for extracting the boundary surface of an internal organ from 3D-CT image

(in English) Active contour models has been widely used to extract the contour of an
internal organ in medical image analysis. In this paper, we propose a
method for extracting the boundary surface of an internal organ from
3D-CT image by extending the idea of active contour. We verified the
effectiveness of the proposed method through an extraction task of
boundary surface of a kidney from 3D-CT data.
