A Study on Detection of Breathing Using Tilt Angle Sensor and its Wireless Monitoring

(in English) Recently, human breath detection has much attention from many researchers for health science. In the previous works on the breath detection, there are many studies based on subnasal temperature shift, microphone, bust measurement, and so on, however the most of them are high-impact. In this paper, we focus on human breath detection using tri-axial acceleration sensor. We propose a new adaptive detection method to improve flexibility. A prototype system has been developed and its wireless monitoring performance has been experimentally evaluated.
