A Study on Planar Array Antenna Dimension Dependency of Transmission Characteristics Calculation of Radome by Transmission Line Theory

(in English) It is known that a radome deteriorates antenna characteristics and the evaluation of the radome using electromagnetic field simulations requires time for the system uses high gain antenna such as millimeter-wave radar systems. In this study, the number of antenna elements and the distance between the antenna and radome are derived for fast calculation of the transmission characteristics of radome using transmission line theory considering large antennas generate quasi-plane wave region close to antenna.
