Possibility of Wireless Power Transfer by Use of Confined Water Ikuo Awai (Ryutech) WPT2019-37 |

Confined water in some container could be used for wireless power transfer due to its high permittivity and existence form as a liquid. Putting an excitation source at one end of the container and placing a receiver in the water, one can build an electrically coupled WPT system thanks to large capacitance realized by high permittivity of water. Since the confined water may also constitute a dielectric waveguide, the excited wave could carry the EM energy. The present report proposes and explains those possibilities of energy transfer. |
