(in English) Researches on wireless power transfer are actively conducted from various perspectives. The author studied new possibilities of wireless power transfer based on the characteristic peculiar to magnetic coupling. In the magnetic coupling, the induced voltage based on the electromagnetic induction action by the interchanging of the magnetic flux between the coils is utilized. Generally, with free layout supply to arbitrary equipment and moving objects, uniformity of the magnetic field of the primary coil that generates magnetic flux is desired. On the other hand, author have studied this possibility by thinking that stepped magnetic field formation is effective for a new usage. Devised a mechanism of stair-like magnetic field formation in which three primary coils with different number of turns are juxtaposed. Using the equivalent circuit analysis, examined the magnetic characteristics and feeding characteristics for arbitrary secondary coil position with respect to the difference in excitation method of series and parallel connection. As a result, in both excitation methods, it was possible to form a magnetic field in a substantially stepped form. On the other hand, distribution of both method was suggested symmetrical. As a result of verifying this interesting property with a prototype, the prediction characteristics were demonstrated.
