In recent years, mobile traffic has increased dramatically therefore expectations for wireless communication systems in millimeter-wave band are rising because of its large capacity. When there are many millimeter-wave wireless communication systems in the future, it is necessary to evaluate unwanted emission and spectrum mask of their wireless devices to ensure stable communication link. According to conventional wireless communication standards, transmitting power
and unwanted emissions are regulated to measure at antenna terminal of DUT (Device Under Test). However, recent years, many millimeter-wave wireless devices without antenna terminals are increasing, because of cost reduction and/or mounting limitation. Therefore, it is necessary to acquire technology for DUT without antenna terminals of measuring unwanted emissions over the air. In this paper, we construct measurement system to evaluate unwanted emission using integrated 140
GHz to 315 GHz band spectrum analyzer and examine its validity. |
