Wireless System Planning Method Based on Wireless Environment and User Distribution

By using a wireless backhaul or a mesh network between access points and installing access points on drones or robots, it is expected that the layout of access points can be changed flexibly in the future. The authors have been studying dynamic wireless parameter control methods in wireless systems, but the use of layout of access points as a dynamically designable parameter can be expected to further improve system throughput. In this paper, we propose a wireless system planning method that calculates sequentially the layout and wireless parameters of each access point based on the wireless environment and user distribution in the target area. The layout of the access points is determined by accommodating users evenly while satisfying user's required quality, and the wireless parameters are determined by improve system throughput. The effectiveness of the proposed method by computer simulation evaluation of wireless LAN system. |
