In this study, we considered the operativity of concurrent transmission from the point of views of modulation and demodulation methods. Due to concurrent transmission receiver’s property to retransmit packets immediately upon receiving, wireless sensor network (WSN) can collect data efficiently and stably without any rooting. Additionally, fast, reliable and low power consumption WSN is easily constructed, and it is not necessary to consider the alignment of nodes in the harsh wireless environment. However, because of the effect of timing and carrier frequency offset caused by packet retransmission, concurrent transmission is not applicable to certain types of modulation and demodulation methods. Based on previous researches, we verified the applicability of concurrent transmission technology to several modulation/demodulation methods, and examined the properties that makes concurrent transmission technology applicable. |
