[Poster Presentation] A Study of Turbo Equalization for OFDM Systems under Multipath Environment with Long Delay

(in English) In Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems, a guard interval (GI) is generally added to avoid the effect of multipath delay which results in Inter-Symbol-Interference (ISI). The length of GI is adjusted to a maximum delay spread (MDS) of an assumed channel. However, in a mobile communication, the characteristic of a channel will change with environment and it can be possible that the instantaneous maximum multipath delay exceeds the fixed GI length in the worst case. In this case, the system suffers from the self-interference resulting from ISI. In this presentation, we consider an OFDM system in which bit data are encoded by Low-density Parity-Check (LDPC) code per sub-block to recover from the signals contaminated with interference and show simulation results when a self-interference cancellation is iteratively performed in frequency domain.
