［ポスター講演］アジア新興国における携帯電話利用行動の理解に向けた定性調査

情報通信技術の発展と普及によりユーザの選択肢が多様化する中で，システムやサービスの開発において，より包括的なユーザ視点やユーザ体験の理解が重要視されるようになった．特に，ユーザにとって新しい技術の普及の初期段階においては，ユーザの状況を理解し，システムやサービスの設計指針となる明示的な問いを生成するために定性的な調査が行われる．無線通信技術に関しては，現在，第5世代移動通信システム（5G）の利用に係る制度や基地局などの設備の整備が進んでいる．一方，5Gのキラーアプリケーションは未だ模索の段階にある．我々はこれまでに，アジアの新興国において情報通信技術が人々の生活の中でどのように受容され，利用されているかという観点で調査を行ってきた．本発表では，ミャンマー，インド，ベトナムにおける調査を通して得られた，人々の生活や行動，それらを取り巻く環境などの特徴をファインディングスとして紹介する．日本とは異なるフィールドの特徴を報告することで，改めて，5GやBeyond 5Gシステムの在り方に対する情報を提供することを企図している． |

With the increasing diversification of users' options by the growth of information and communication technologies, a more comprehensive understanding of user perspectives and user experiences have become important in development of systems and services. Particularly, in the early phase of diffusion of new technologies for users, qualitative investigations are conducted to know user's situation and find the right problem that guides designing systems and services. Regarding wireless communication technology, development of systems and infrastructure such as base stations that are related to fifth generation cellular network technology (5G) are currently proceeded. On the other hand, a killer application of 5G is still being explored. We have addressed investigation in Asian emerging countries from the viewpoint of how people bring information and communication technologies into their lives and use them. In this presentation, we introduce characteristics of people's lives, behavior, and surrounding environment as findings that are obtained through investigations in Myanmar, India, and Vietnam. We report the characteristics of the fields that are different from Japan with intent to provide information that contributes discussion on the future of 5G and Beyond 5G systems. |
