Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Fingerprint recognition is to identigy a person by comparing relative position, angle and quality of minutiae extracted from fingerprint images. The combination of minutiae and other discriminative features is considered to improve the performance of fingerprint recognition, since the low accuracy of minutia extraction results in the low accruacy of fingerprint recognition. This paper proposes a fingerprint recognition method using deep learning, which employs frequency spectrum, texture and minutiae information. We demonstrate that the proposed method exhibits the efficient performance on fingerprint recongition for low-quality fingerprint images.
