[Invited Lecture] Transceiver impairments on in-band full duplex

(in English) The authors tackle technical issues of in-band full-duplex as a technology to use radio resources effectively. A major problem that hinders in-band full-duplex is self-interference. Self-interference is several tens to one hundred decibels greater than the desired signal and is distorted by the transceiver impairments (e.g., amplifier nonlinearity, IQ imbalance, and phase noise). Generally, self-interference cancellation filters considering distortion due to these impairments have high computational complexity and poor convergence characteristics because there are many filter coefficients to be estimated. In this short presentation, we will outline the efforts on these technical issues.
