Internet of Things (IoT) is expected as an information and communication infrastructure for realizing a super-smart society. Many IoT devices have a wireless communication function, and the man-made noise emitted from electrical and electronic apparatus is well known to cause the performance degradation of wireless communication. The phenomenon that man-made noise emitted from Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) equipment cause problems in wireless communication system has been recognized as a radio environment problem, and a number of countermeasure technologies have been studied. On the other hand, considering that the development of the wireless communication system that improved reception sensitivity of antenna, it is possible to receive not only the man-made noise in the vicinity but also the man-made noise emitted from the man-made noise source in the distance. Under such conditions, the radio environment problem targeting only a single man-made noise insufficient, so have to study environment problem targeting multiple man-made noise. In this report, with the consideration about transmission performance of the wireless communication system under the multiple periodic burst man-made noise environment. In addition, as a countermeasure against the periodic burst noise, we propose a method to control the offset time of high amplitude periodic burst noise. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme improve the transmission performance by setting the offset time according to the distance between the transceivers of the wireless communication system. |
