Metric for Channel Selection by the Number of Users and SNR in WLAN

(in English) A channel selection is employed to switch dynamically the channel to the optimal channel using channel state information (CSI).
The channel selection is widely used to improve the communication efficiency.
The key parameters representing CSI in WLAN include signal to noise power ratio (SNR) and the number of users connected to the underlined access point.
In this paper, the metric of channel selection based on SNR and the number of users are considered.
As the metric for channel selection, a delay time is considered.
It is defined from the occurrence of a packet to the completion of transmission, and the metric is expressed by an $N$-th order polynomials.
Numerical results are presented to show the approximation error of the function defined as the metric.
