The electroencephalogram (EEG) is one of the familiar methods to estimate the activated brain area in the field of brain machine interface (BMI). However, many electrodes are necessary to carry out accurate estimation of activated brain area. This causes an increase in cost and installation time. In this study, the authors propose a electrodes placement system called by lopsided electrode layout(LEL). To examine applicability of LEL, the authors investigate a performance of source localization by sLORETA by using the 10-20 system and LEL.As results of them, applicability of LEL is confirmed. |
