In recent years, many wearable devices have been developed for the purpose of health management in daily life according to combining various technologies such as miniaturization technology of electronic parts, smart textiles and wireless communication technology. An electrocardiogram (ECG) were invented more than 100 years ago, and they are still used as an essential tool to detect early heart disease. The waveform of the ECG changes with the position of the electrode, it is necessary to consider the electrode position suitable for each wearable devices. However, experimental evaluation with real human body have problems such as individual specificity and reproducibility, it is desirable to conduct experiments using a biological tissue-equivalent phantom. In this study, we computed equivalent conductivity in a single-tissue phantom model based on electric field analysis for developing a phantom for pseudo-ECG. First, the forward problem of the ECG is solved by ECG generation model with multiple electric dipoles. Then, the reconstructed ECG in a single-tissue phantom were evaluated by the mean squared error (MSE) with a typical electrocardiogram. |
