An applicability of ITU-T Recommendation P.1203 model to VR video streaming

(in English) Recently, omnidirectional video streaming has spread widely, the quality of experience (QoE) monitoring is desirable. Therefore, in this paper, we examined the extension of ITU-T Recommendation P.1203, which can be used for the QoE monitoring of adaptive bitrate streaming services, to VR video streaming services. By optimizing coefficients, it was confirmed that the quality-estimation accuracy is high enough when users do not perceive noticeable quality degradations for low-quality tiles.
