Improvement of Robustness by Normalization of Design Parameters in PSD Method -- The Case of Vialess Open-stub EBG Structure --

(in English) In metamodeling of Preference Set-based Design (PSD) method, we proposed to normalize design parameters in order to evaluate several design parameters equally. In the conventional PSD method, when the different order of design parameters is evaluated, all design parameters are not evaluated with the same weight in the created meta-modeling equation. In this paper, we apply the design parameters normalized to the vialess open-stub EBG structure with different design parameter orders to the PSD method. As a result, by normalizing, all design parameters fluctuate in the range of 0 to 1, so sensitivity to the required performance is directly expressed in the coefficient of the meta-modeling equation. And even if the order of the initial range is different, their fluctuation is equal. It is shown that the results of t-test can be evaluated as such changes. And, w_s with the largest coefficient among the design parameters of the required performance $alpha$c has the highest contribution, so the approximation accuracy of the meta-modeling equation can be improved by narrowing the initial range of ws.
