We have numerically elucidated the nonlinear dynamics of flow velocity and temperature flow field during a buoyancy-driven turbulent fire from the viewpoints of symbolic dynamics and statistical complexity[K. Takagi et al., Phys. Rev. E 96, 052223, 2017; K. Takagi et al., Phys. Lett. A 382, p. 3182, 2018; K. Takagi and H. Gotoda, Phys. Rev. E 98, 032207, 2018]. However, nonlinear interaction between flow velocity and temperature fields from near- to far-field has yet to be fully studied. In this study, we reveal the effect of gravity on the nonlinear interaction using time series analysis based on symbolic dynamics and causality analysis. |
