RSSI Prediction of LoRa in Indoor Environment with Support Vector Regression
Mai Hirata, Hideya Ochiai, Hiroshi Esaki (UTokyo) IA2019-1 ICSS2019-1
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we focused on LoRa which is one of the LPWA.We proposed the method to estimate the RSSI from the environment where receiver and transmitter were installed in the indoor. In the second building of the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, the RSSI was measured, and the environment at that time was made to be a parameter, and a data set was generated.Using 80% of the data obtained in this experiment as training data and 20% as test data, RSSI was evaluated using SVR. In experiment 1, the prediction was possible with an error within 10 dBm with a linear kernel. In experiment 2, the prediction was possible with the error within 20 dBm with RBF kernel.
