Generation of full Poincaré beam using an optical ring cavity with double diffraction gratings: theoretical analysis

(in English) Recently, full Poincaré beams with all polarization states in the beam cross section have been proposed and attracting attention of scientists. In this work, in order to expand the application of the full Poincaré beam, we propose an on-chip full Poincaré beam generator and numerically demonstrate its operation. Our device based on a ring-cavity with double diffraction gratings, which emits two kinds of twisted beams, and a full Poincaré beam is synthesized as a superposition of the two kinds of beams.
