[Technology Exhibit] A study on evaluation method by smart phone application in WLAN channels

(in English) A smart phone application for wifi analysis is given as a tool to easily investigate the radio wave environment.In this paper, we investigate a criterion of a channel selection function implemented as smart phone application based on an experiment.In addition, we will propose a criterion for channel selection in which information obtained in the smartphone application is only used.However, we were able to select the best three channels with the highest throughput at a rate of about 50% in the proposed channel evaluation criteria and the smart phone application used for the survey using the channel intensity of the beacon of the access point and the utilization channel.On the other hand, the worst three channels with the lowest throughput is less accurate.
