RTI (Radio Tomographic Imaging) estimates an attenuation map of wireless signals at every spatial position within a region by analyzing attenuated wireless signals traversed across the region. In this article, we consider a sequential RTI scheme using mobile measurement nodes, where the attenuation measurements are collected by mobile nodes and the attenuation map is sequentially estimated by the measurements. We evaluate the RTI scheme with simulation experiments. Furthermore, we apply the RTI scheme to an RSS (Received Signal Strength)-based target localization scheme in order to improve the estimation error of target location. |
