In-band full-duplex is a communication method with simultaneous transmission and reception at the same radio frequency (RF) band, and the local receiver receives the transmitted signal as strong self-interference (SI), which cause the saturation of the local receiver such as the dynamic range saturation of an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and non-linear amplification of a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). For preventing this saturation, the analog SI cancellation using an auxiliary transmitter is proposed. In this research, in order to generate the signal of the auxiliary transmitter, we design the widely linear (WL) filter by adaptive algorithm such as augmented complex least mean square (ACLMS) and recursive least squares (RLS). Simulation results show that RLS converges faster by about 400 times to the ideal filter than LMS. Furthermore, we indicate that RLS is less robust against LNA non-linear amplification and I/Q imbalance than ACLMS. |
