Research on wireless power transfer is being conducted from various perspectives. The author has studied a novel mechanism and usage of wireless power transfer using magnetic coupling. In the magnetic coupling feed, the coupling factor k between the transmitting and receiving coils is an important index, and determines important performance such as received voltage, received power, efficiency, etc. Therefore, it is important to keep the numerical value of k within the specified value range in order to provide a good freeposition of the equipment, and good wireless power transfer during the movement. Also knowing the numerical value of k during power supply makes it possible to optimally control and improve the power supply performance. Although there are several methods for the conventional k measurement method, measurement of plural parameters in a coil independent state is common. On the other hand, k measurement during power supply while being incorporated in the circuit is the stage of research. The author has studied a new mechanism that can know k in real time by simple information only on the power transmission side during power supply. From the block diagram using the k-notation transfer function the author found that k estimation is possible with the information on the power transmission side voltage amplitude alone, when optimized design is performed with the S - SP type, and the results of verification in the prototype experiment , the author have demonstrated high accuracy k estimation and report it. |
