Current Resonant Soft Switching Converter Using Cockcroft-Walton Circuit

(in English) A high step-up ratio isolated DC-DC converter using a step-up transformer and a Cockcroft-Walton (CW) circuit is used for a power circuit of an X-ray irradiator such as a CT scan. Therefore, miniaturization and weight reduction are required, and for that purpose, miniaturization of passive elements by high frequency of switching frequency is effective, but high frequency has another problem of increase of switching loss, so high frequency In order to do this, it is necessary to realize soft switching. In this research, a current resonance type converter that realizes soft switching by using parasitic elements of a step-up transformer and a CW circuit in PFM control has been proposed. First, the relationship between the resonance parameter and the output voltage characteristics is considered based on the simulation results, and then, based on the results of actual machine verification, the w Check soft switching in the drier.
