The widespread of wireless local area network (WLAN) brings the dense deployment of many access points (APs) and stations (STAs) as in a railways terminal station and an airport lobby.
Such dense deployment of APs causes an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) environment, where APs share the same frequency channel, that brings interference frequent frame collisions, and a decrease of available radio resources in each BSS.
To overcome these problems, we have proposed a transmission power control scheme using an indicator issued when an AP detects the increase of channel occupancy ratio.
In this paper, in order to share resources more efficiently, we propose an improved scheme to suppress fluctuation of throughput in a transient state.
Simulation results show the proposed scheme achieves high area spectral efficiency. |
