| (in English) | It is necessary to evaluate a complex permittivity of thin dielectric samples for compact and low-profile microwave and millimeter wave device designs. We have been reported that the accurate complex permittivity measurement method for film dielectric materials with thickness of 10 μm or more by the circular empty cavity method. In order to expand the measurement range of the sample thickness, we studied on thin film complex permittivity measurement for 5 films of a photosensitive insulator with different thickness from 5 to 16 μm using the 36GHz, 50GHz, 80GHz, and 100GHz band circular cavity resonators. Furthermore, we performed the uncertainty analysis and found out the important points for thin film measurements. | |
