Studies on Ordered Shuffled BP Decoding of LDPC Codes -- Based on the Loops and Weight Distributions of LDPC Codes --

(in English) In the Shuffled BP decoding of LDPC codes, the decoding order has a large influence on BER performance. Previous research focused on degree of the irregular code for the order determination. However, this method is not an appropriate order determination.

In this research, focuses on the number of loops in the check matrix. In addition, we also focus conditional weight distribution of codewords. As a result of computer simulation, the decoding order method using loops achieves high decoding performance with fewer decoding iterations than the previous method. On the other hand, the method using the conditional weight distribution is not practical.
