Estimation of Baby's Sleep Rhythm at Night using the Non-Restrain Type Sensor Mat

(in English) Due to changes in household environment, mothers are raising children by myself, and mother’s parenting stress is increasing. We think that the reason for parenting stress is baby’s cry at night. Therefore, we think that mother’s parenting stress can decrease by estimation of baby’s sleep rhythm. In this study, baby’s heart rate, respiration rate and body motion were measured using the non-restrain type sensor mat. Moreover, we estimated baby’s sleep rhythm based on data of baby’s variability of heart rate and respiration rate, frequency and duration of body motion. As a result of the experiment, the accuracy of estimating the baby’s sleep rhythm was 80.0±3.4%.
