A study on the OTA measurement for the interference of the wireless power transmission

(in English) Wireless power transmitter (WPT) using microwaves must have a technology of reduction interference to the existing wireless communication system. This paper discussed the WPT system need to be measured complex electrical field by over the air (OTA) measurement. OTA measurement for WPT should be able to measure the 3-D radiation pattern includes amplitude and phase. This paper also revealed the behavior of the electromagnetic field in the area of 920MHz band WPT system by using electromagnetic analysis. And in the condition of the antenna gain equal to 6dBi, it shows that the radiative near field is dominant within 1 m from the WPT system and the far field is dominant in the range exceeding 1 m. In addition, the radiation pattern measurement in the 5 GHz band using 8-element array revealed that 3-dB beam-width and null are almost equal to the far field transmission when the distance is greater than 1 m.
