Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Magnetrons have been widely used as microwave heating applications typified as microwave ovens. The advantages of magnetrons include high efficiency, low cost, and light weight. However, the magnetrons have poorly stable output frequency, and high noise. Our research group has overcome these disadvantages and developed a phase-controlled magnetron as the transmission apparatus of a wireless power transfer system. Moreover, the magnetron amplified the frequency modulation signal, and the transmission rate at 10 Mbps was achieved. In this study, combining with microwave rectification technology, we constructed a microwave power transmission system at a low cost.
