We carried out microwave wireless power transfer (WPT) experiment for movable target. Phased array antenna system was used for beam forming with 10 dB Gaussian taper distribution. 130 W power was radiated by using 64 sub-array patch antenna elements. Vertically located target with antenna and rectifying circuit was used to receive power. Characteristics of rectenna were also analyzed regarding conversion efficiency. Location finding of the target was also done by using phase comparison monopulse method. Dipole array antennas were installed on transmitting antenna to receive pilot signal from target and accuracy of the technique was evaluated. |
