Tatsuya Oikawa, Hidehiko Hayashi (HGU) HCS2018-69
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The issue of increasing the number of radio listeners is important to the radio industry. In this paper, we describe the efforts made by radio stations with the aim of increasing young people' s radio listeners. We also report the results of the questionnaire survey for radio listeners. Applications by simulcast over IP that can listen to radio programs on personal computers, smart phones, etc. have been developed, as a result of the questionnaire, these services are not necessarily recognized by current young people. We proposed solutions and discussed the future of radio media and human communication.
